Eagle Eye

This past weekend i watched the film Eagle Eye. Eagle Eye is about a anonymous caller that selects two people to preform tasks out of fear. Throught out the movie this caller preforms seemingly imposible stunts. For example it breaks down power lines to kill a man running away from a van. It seems that this anonymous caller has total control of Jerry and Rachel's, the main characters, surroundings. During the movie i noticed certain camera angles and movements that helped me further understand the film. Just simple camera tatics such as high and low angles to show how much power a certain character posseses. Later on in the film i discovered that this caller was actually a corrupt machine i was greatly disappointed. Although i enjoyed how the director kept the viewer from fully comprehending the plot, by keeping this caller anonymous, i thought it was stupid how in the end that there wasn't a terrorist orginization behind this but yet a corrupt machine. This plot was creative but yet stupid i would rate this movie a 4 out of 10.

chiuaua

Beverly hills chiuaua was an amazing movie. I was constantly falling out of my seat laughing in the theater. This movie was based on the perspective of a spoiled chiuaua, Chloe, from beverly hills that ends up in the wrong part of town. Chloe gets captured and then is set up to enter a dog fight. However, Papi rescues her and tries to escort her to safety. This rescue opperation is a difficult task completing many tasks on their way to THE LAND OF CHIUAUAS! When they get there the chiuauas help out with this operation and also help with Chloe's character development. At the start Chloe would be considered nothing but a spoiled dog, but by the end of the film Chloe is able to look after herself because she found her bark. This movie not only touched me literally and figuartively but emotionally as well. If you ever get the chance to view this film i would highly suggest you do so.

Citizen Kane Camera Usage

Becoming aware of specific camera functions and scene lighting makes me a more efficient viewer. Before i learned these terms i didn't notice certain techniques that help elaborate and foreshadow the storyline. For example, Orson Wells uses low key lighting to keep the reporters anonymous and show that they are inimportant and that the viewer should pay more attention to Kane instead of the reporters. Wells also uses low key lighting to show evil and high key lighting to show good. Orson Wells also used low and high angles to show the difference in power between characters having a conversation. For example, when Kane and Susan are talking a high angle is used to show that Kane is very powerful and a low angle is used on Susan to show that she is weaker than Kane. High angles, in Citizen Kane, are also used to show greatness or even wealth, for example Xanadu is always viewed in a high camera angle. Orson Wells used many different camera angles and lighting to help distinguish good vs. evil, strong vs. weak and important vs. unimportant, by being aware of these techniques the viewer can have a better understanding of the film as a whole.

Pirate Jane's film viewing expierence

Batman was a GREAT MOVIE!!! Not only was the acting terrififc but the story line was filled with twists and surprises. This was by far the best move that Pirate Jane has seen all year. A close second was the hillarious comedy of Step Brothers. Will ferrel and some other guy tag teamed this movie to make a similar movie to Talledega Knights. It is without a doubt that Will Ferrell and that other guy shook it to the limit!
On another note Pirate Jane like movies but Pirate Jane DON'T LIKE CHICKEN!!!! Pirate Jane usually gathers with friends has a picnic then rents a film to watch at home. Pirate Jane and his friends like this a lot. Generally after the film is finished Pirate Jane goes to bed, in his water bed of course. And goes to bed in his water bed of course.
